Berlin, it is well known as German’s capital, for its night life, for the zoo and for our beer. Yes Berlin is the name of the Greek beer, which is produced from the Greek brewery of Atalnti (EZA) since 2010. Beyond any prejudice that we might have, especially nowadays towards Germany, we will always acknowledge and judge fairly the quality product that offered us, the beer. Its logo is a black bear, the symbol of the Berlin town and the International Film Festival that is taking place there. Aiming at identification the product with the quality that the German Brewers are known to offer, EZA uses this name having a great ambition. Made its presence felt when, demolished the wall of the establishment ..
The progress of the Berlin so far is successful. Of course it has the potential for even more distinctions as it is very close to the familiar taste that the Greek consumers have about beer. This beer fits with daily food and going out at night.
The long experience and know-how of the company, combined with the talent of the German brewer and his group, made the perfect recipe. The high quality of the beer can ensure through the strict specifications in production process, which has a relatively high cost. It is important that during the production, it is faithfully kept by the Beer Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) of 1516, using only water, malt, yeast and hops. The water that is used is excellent quality from breweries sources in Parnassos Mountain. Finally the long maturity of 21 days, provides the final characteristics that make it perfectly suited to the climate of our country
Berlin is a blond Lager with 5%abv just like any other classic Lager. Ideal is served in 4-6°C. It has a fresh and clean malt taste, which is easy to understand as well as the bitterness of the hops.
