The programme has been announcement for this year’s Corfu Beer Festival in Arillas, Corfu 8th– 12thOctober 2014). There are five evenings of entertainment as well as exceptional beers and food from both the UK and Greece.

The festival opens each evening at 6.00pm where food and beer will be served and dancing and music starts from 7.30 pm. Dance groups include the Hammersmith Morris Men from England and Celtic Storm from Northern Ireland. There will be traditional and cultural Greek dancing from various local dance associations from Corfu.
From 10.30 pm feature bands will take centre stage with a mix of bands and music during the week to entertain all. There will be rock, pop, folk and blues from local Corfu bands, English groups as well as guest bands from other parts of Greece. Feature bands include:
COOKERY DEMONSTRATIONS–EACH EVENING 5.30PM – 6.30 PM: Visitors can join some local cookery demonstrations before the festival officially opens with Spiros Afthinos, chef and restaurant owner of Corfu Kathe pragma ston Kairo toy, who will provide cookery demonstrations about maximising on the use of food to compliment beer!
Corfu-Beer is a microbrewery based in Arillas and is Greece’s only real ale producing brewery. Beers from the UK for the Corfu Beer Festival are being produced at the microbrewery and Claudio Mouzakitis, Head Brewer and Director of Corfu-Beer, is in charge of the production and was also responsible for the creation of the unique Corfu-Beer special, ‘Koroibos Ale’, exclusively produced for the London Olympic Games in 2012. Visitors can take part in half-hour tours of the brewery by reserving their place(Free although a small donation for the guide is appreciated at end of tour). The festival takes place on the grounds of the microbrewery.
