Another night, with a bar full of people at Jolie Môme, the cocktail bar I’m working the last six months. Even with a lot of crowd, our cocktails are prepared respectfully and quick. Both Classic and modern cocktail recipes are among our customers preferences. The cocktail that one of my good customers asked for was neither a classic neither a modern one. He asked me, to “marry” two different “friends”, whisky and beer. That’s easy I thought.
Instead of Whyte & Mackay use Busmills 16 Years Malt
I chose a Scotch whisky, added cardamom flavor and beer! That’s it. The Giants Gate was a fact!
I poured in the mixing glass the egg white and 4-5 cardamon seeds. I muddled them. Then I added the whisky, the sugar syrup and some fresh lime juice. I added the ice and shaked hard. In a chilled glass I doubled strained the shaked ingredients. Finally I topped up with Guinness. Ready!
