A group of talented pilots in China have been showing off their flying skills by opening beer bottles with their helicopters. The amazing feat was part of China’s three-day Helicopter Tournament, which came to an end on Monday. More than 20 helicopter pilots competed in the event, and each one had to take part in six challenges.
The beer opening showpiece captured the most attention.
The bottles were fixed on top of a pole, and the bottle opener was tied to the end of the helicopter’s right-hand skid. Each pilot was tasked with opening five bottles in eight minutes, with each bottle worth 40 points.
The one who opened the most bottles, without breaking the glass, would win the game.
Zhang Zhiqiang, a pilot from Anyang City in Henan Province, won, scoring 120 points after opening three bottles.
